Meet the Team
Dr. Amber Breclaw is excited to serve the Hutto community with the opening of Paw Haven Animal Hospital. A native Texan, Dr. Breclaw grew up in Pearland, Texas, and is living out her lifelong passion to be a veterinarian.
She graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science in 2004 and graduated cum laude with her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2007. Dr. Breclaw has been a veterinarian in Austin and Round Rock for 16 years prior to fulfilling her dream of opening her own veterinary practice here in Hutto.
She and her husband, Jarrod, have three talented and active children – Collin, Claire, and Evan. They also have a Goldendoodle named Ollie, a Shih Tzu mix named Cooper, and two guinea pigs named Trevor and Snickers. When she is not working, Dr. Breclaw enjoys reading, running, spending time with family and friends, and being a band/dance/soccer mom.
Julia Dickerson, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Julia Dickerson grew up in Abilene, Texas, and knew from an early age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. Her love for animals began with her two childhood cats, Cosmo and Mustache, and only grew stronger over the years. Starting out as a veterinary technician, she gained hands-on experience that reinforced her commitment to caring for pets and supporting the people who love them.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin, where she fell in love with the area. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating magna cum laude in May 2025. Dr. Dickerson is excited to begin her veterinary career in Hutto. She has a special interest in internal medicine and preventative care, and she enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Outside of work, Dr. Dickerson enjoys reading, playing tennis, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family. She also stays active in her local church community. During her final year of vet school, she adopted a blind pug named Pickles and has loved getting to know all of his quirks and personality.
Danaile Oliver
Licensed Veterinary Technician, Hospital Manager
Danaile became our Paw Haven hospital manager in February 2024. Danaile was born and raised in the central Texas area before moving to Austin during her college externship in 2012. She has an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology and has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for over a decade. Her background includes working in shelters, emergency medicine, specialty practices, general practice, and management. After all her time in the field, she is still passionate about providing the absolute best care for animals. Danaile enjoys sharing her extensive knowledge with anyone who wants to learn, while also remaining dedicated to continuing her own educational journey. When not in the clinic, Danaile enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family which includes her 2 dogs: Ruby the Golden Retriever, and Casanova the Standard Poodle.
Nicole Toliver
Lead Technician and Inventory Manager
Nicole Toliver is excited to be part of the team at Paw Haven Animal Hospital. Originally from Southern California, she now lives in Hutto, and loves the people and pets of Texas.
She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2014 and graduated top of her class from the Blinn Veterinary Technology Program in 2017, after which she obtained her veterinary technology license. Nicole enjoyed working alongside Dr. Breclaw in the greater Austin area for 6 years prior to the opening of this practice.
She and her husband, Clark, have two young children – Natalie and Carson. They also have two border collies – Sadie and Millie. When she is not working, Nicole enjoys game nights with her family and friends and singing on the worship team at her local church.
Shauna Davis
Veterinary Technician
Shauna joined our Paw Haven family as a veterinary technician in April 2024. She moved to Texas from California in 2001 and has worked in the veterinary field for over 16 years, and has been a vet tech since 2015. Shauna has 3 grown children and shares her home with 6 cats and 3 dogs. She loves helping animals and has a particular passion for working with cats. Outside of work, Shauna enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her family.
Hallie Davis
Veterinary Technician
Hallie joined the Paw Haven family in September of 2024. Hal was raised in Texas and has always had a passion for working with animals. Hal has continued to nurture her love by working in the veterinary field for the last 6 years, and she is now on her educational journey to obtain her LVT (licensed veterinary technician) certification. Hallie is obsessed with her 3 small dogs and 2 very playful cats.
Erin Constantino
Veterinary Technician
Erin has had a love for animal care since she was little and always knew she wanted to work around them. Erin started in the veterinary field in 2020 and couldn’t imagine herself taking a different path in life. She has 3 wonderful kitties at home and in her free time enjoys movies and video games with her fiancé, Kurt, as well as cooking, attempting to bake, and attending live music events. Erin is super excited to join the Paw Haven team!
Holly Roper
Veterinary Assistant
Holly joined our Paw Haven family in June 2024 and we are excited to have her as a part of our team. She has previously worked as an exotic animal trainer and has also worked as a teacher for 5 years. Holly is excited to re-enter the animal field and to get to know our amazing clients and their pets. Holly lives with 3 cats and has a fiance named Ryan. In her free time, Holly enjoys arts and crafts, reading, and ballet dancing.
Catalina Garcia
Receptionist
Catalina joined the Paw Haven family as a receptionist in February 2026. Catalina was born and raised in Central Texas and has spent most of her life in Hutto. She has a passion for food and travel and enjoys trying new foods whenever she can. Catalina also loves attending concerts and listening to a wide variety of music. She is always open to experiencing something new at least once. Growing up, Catalina has always loved animals, which makes working at Paw Haven such a rewarding opportunity for her. She enjoys helping both clients and their pets while doing something she truly cares about.
